How to turn an MP3 into karaoke
Upload your file.
MP3, WAV, FLAC or AAC. On paid plans you can also upload an MP4 music video.
Let the AI do the slow part.
It takes the vocals out of the mix, writes out the lyrics and lines up every word with the singing. Already have the exact lyrics? Paste them in instead. You can nudge any word in the sync editor.
Check it.
Play it with or without the vocals before you export.
Download the track or export the video.
Download the instrumental straight away, or pick fonts, colours and a background, preview it, and export an MP4.
What you get from one song file
A backing track.
The vocals come out and the music stays. Download it as an M4A audio file, which plays on phones, computers and most music apps. It never uses credits and has no watermark, even on a free account.
The vocals on their own.
Also free to download, for practising harmonies or remixing.
A karaoke video.
The lyrics sit on screen and light up word by word, with a countdown before every verse. Export an MP4 at up to 1080p on paid plans.
MP3+G for karaoke software.
On Premium, export MP3+G for KJ software and karaoke players.
Good to know before you upload
File length.
On a free account, files can be up to 10 minutes long. Paid plans take longer files.
How clean the vocals come out.
The AI takes the lead vocal out of most songs, but on some mixes a faint trace of the voice or the backing singers can stay. Play it before you export. Paid plans add Pro vocal isolation.
No lyrics needed.
The AI writes them out from the song. Paste the exact lyrics instead to use fewer credits.
Any language.
Paste lyrics in any language and script, with over 1,500 fonts to choose from.
What people make with it
“I've been using @MyKaraoke Video for 2-3 months. Using it to produce both the Lyric Video (to help promote songs I've written) and Karaoke Tracks to use when I perform at small venues as a solo. I've worked over 100 songs - It's working Great!”

Sign up and get 30 free credits, one time, with no credit card. Credits are charged by the minute of song, and having the AI write out the lyrics costs the most. Paste your own lyrics, word for word, and 30 credits covers a typical song. Downloading the instrumental never uses credits, and the audio has no watermark. Videos made on free credits carry our watermark across the picture and export at up to 720p.
